Macys Shop with a Cop Christmas Event

It was a heart warming morning to partner with Macy's and to have the deputies of Sonoma Sheriff participate in our first Shop with a Cop event supporting the youth of Sonoma County Hardship Fund and R-Hoops Scdsa

It was very important for all of our volunteers to be a part of this day to make sure all the kids will have gifts and clothes and toys for Christmas.

Shop with a Cop!! We took these awesome kiddos and teens shopping at Macy’s for Christmas. They each had $200 thanks to Macy’s and the Guy Fieri Foundation. And you know what? So many of them made sure to buy presents for their siblings and parents, not just themselves. These are some amazing young people.

We volunteered our time to take them shopping early Saturday morning. All the kids live in Roseland and participate in a basketball program called R-Hoops, sponsored by the Deputy Sheriffs Association. R-Hoops gives them a safe place to play ball and spend time with coaches who double as mentors.

It takes a village to raise good kids. This was a collaborative effort with: Guy Fieri Foundation, Guy Fieri, @redstarsantarosa, Macy's, @Rhoopsscso, Sonoma County DSA, Sonoma Sheriff, Sonoma County Hardship Fund, @cfamendo
