Giving Thanks…

Giving thanks is something the The Guy Fieri Foundation tries to do year round whether it's the First Responders, Veterans, educating our kids, or families in need.

We were lucky enough to be able to give back and give Thanksgiving to families in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, San Rafael and surrounding communities through the Salvation Army @salvationarmysantarosa Redwood Gospel Mission @redwoodgospel and the Sonoma County Professional Firefighters Sonoma County Fire District (@sonomacountyfiredistrict)

On November 19th and 20th 2021, with the help of Operation BBQ Relief @opbbqrelief we prepared over 5,000 meals to give them a Thanksgiving dinner that they deserve. The Salavation Army of Santa Rosa, Redwood Gospel Mission, and the Sonoma County Fire District distributed the meals to the families throughout the surrounding communities. Each meal contained servings for an entire family and included Butterball Turkey, Kings Hawaiian Dinner Rolls, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing and gravy.

Thank you to our partners, sponsors and volunteers that allowed us to do this. We had over 60 volunteers for the 2 days we prepared, packaged and distributed the meals. Without your help we can not serve our communities and do this alone.
